"Communication is not a luxury. It shouldn’t be about frustrating, hard to understand price plans or unpredictable monthly costs. Public Mobile was founded on the core belief that it is everybody’s right to talk, which is why we will offer flat-rate, unlimited local talk and text wireless phone services."
And according to their web site, there is about 38% of Canadians without a cellphone. There appears to be room for them for growth, but they will have to do some heavy marketing against Telus, Bell, Rogers, Fido and Koodo.
The service will be launched in Ontario and Quebec first, no contracts, no credit check and it would cost $40 dollars a month. Read This »
