I got paid $100 dollars for placing Ads on my sites

Last time, it took me over a year to reach a $100 dollars so i could get paid by Google AdSense, now, it took me less than 6 months - my goal has been achieved.

Converting the $100 from US dollars to Canadian dollars, it turned out to be $130 CAD, not bad, eh?!

If you do not have a blog yourself, it is time to set one up. I can help you.

Google AdSense: Almost made it to 100 dollars last month

I was 3 dollars short to make it the 100 dollars i needed for Google to send me a check for the month of May, dam...

Now i am over 100.00, so i expect it deposited to my bank account at the end of June. It took me 5 months to reach this amount this time. The last time i got a check was on December of last year, the wait was 13 months!

My goal is to reach 100 dollars in 3 months now.

Microsoft will pay you when buying a product from their Live Search page

Cashback

This service appears to be available in the US only, it is a new service which offers buyers cashback for a successful purchase from one of their publishers.

Rundown:

1 - A user searches for a product at http://search.live.com/cashback
2 - Using the result, the visitor compares prices from other publishers.
3 - The person makes the purchase, within 60 days, you get a cashback.

Rather than going to the store in person, Microsoft is encouraging buyers to purchase the items online from the participating stores.

Online merchants are supporting this idea and Microsoft is reporting a 12% increase of online transactions across the web, according to Comscore. Read This »

What do you think when you see this ad?

It's catchy, pink background, bright colors. You look at the woman, you scan her quickly from top to bottom, you think it's an ad for staying fit or for a new gym opening, you turn to the next page, you walk away, or you just throw it in the garbage.

However, if you are still looking at it, you then read the text 'Koodo Mobile', it gives you a summary of what it is - an affordable phone plan, but does it really want to make you sign up for a plan?

Personally, no. To start, the pink background, the outfit, the thing near her shoes(don't know what it is) and the name 'Koodo Mobile', the name just doesn't work. I don't fine it serious. Is this ad targeted for teenagers only? I wonder. But we all want some cheap phone plan!

They should just change the ad format and the name, get more serious with their business, and they could be a competitor.

You're Invited to try Google Ad Manager

Well, i was selected from a group of AdSense publishers to try the free hosted Ad Manager, the new advertising inventory from Google.

The Ad Manager reminds me of PHP OpenAds, now http://openx.org.

Here is what the Ad Manager consists of:

  • Proven Google speed and reliability
  • Built-in reporting tools
  • Accurate inventory forecasting
  • An intuitive user interface
  • Yield management
  • Optional AdSense integration to help maximize revenue

I got an update later today that it is now multilingual, it supports 25 languages, and apparently, they will be adding more languages in the coming weeks.

Making quick money by putting ads on your site - really?

Google AdSense ads is a quick and easy way to make an extra cash on the side - beside your regular job.

All you do is place Google ads on your site, not just Google Ads though, there are many Advertisers out there, I'll just talk about Google Adsense today.

You get paid when you reach a $100.00, Google deposits it in your bank account or mails it to you, depositing it in your bank account directly is better as there are no fees, and it is quicker.

If you are like me that wants to make an extra cash on the side, that's good, if you are not, start doing it - all you need is a good web site.

There are many ways how to make cash on the net, i won't be going into details as this can go on and on, we'll cover that at another time.

So currently i have $44 dollars in my account, let's see how much i can make in the next couple of weeks or months.
